Boys will be boys

Ewan had some minor injuries this year. I think I took them in stride. Ewan was hysterical though.

He fell and hit his head on the side of a table while standing on the edge of the couch. This was right after his friend, Max, said "Be careful. You don't want to bust your head open!" August, 2011.

November, 2011. Busted out tooth! Max again. They were jumping off the top of Max's bunk bed onto a love sac. They thought it would be fun to jump together. Ewan landed with his mouth on the back of Max's head! His tooth came clean out, root and all. My poor neighbor came running over in bare feet carrying bloody, screaming Ewan. Ewan was pretty upset about his tooth until the tooth fairy came and promised him a new tooth (and gave him a toy). She left him a little note about being careful with his teeth.

Hawaii in the fall

I am SO behind. I will just post pictures and get caught up. We went to Maui in September with Stewart's family. It is very much fun, as Maui always is, and getting quality time with the Canada peeps is good.

Callen turned one while we were there.

Our trip to the Aquarium (a must every visit). We went twice.

We went on a snorkeling and dolphin watching expedition with Pacific Whale Foundation. I highly recommend them. We spent the rest of the day in Lahaina.
